New champion of the Congo! RTGA Du Pouvoir Lion defeats Safrane to become new Champion of Republic of the Congo!

On Sunday February 26, 2023, Safrane, the FECOLUSAF Champion of the Republic of the Congo in Classic Style, defended his title at an outdoor event in Brazzaville against the FECOLUSAF Champion of Brazzaville, RTGA Du Pouvoir Lion.

This match was a long time coming as these two have met before. Safrane defeated RTGA in the summer of 2022 at the Congo National Championships on his way to becoming Champion of the Congo in Classic Style. RTGA issued a challenge immediately following Safrane's championship win and the table was set for this grudge match with the belt on the line. In the meantime, RTGA would go on to recapture the FECOLUSAF Championship of Brazzaville via forfeit against Ebéndé Molasso and had an opportunity to become a double champion, and the holder of the two top belts in Congo-Brazzaville pro wrestling.
