World Wrestling Congo gets new gear, provides update on some future plans
World Wrestling Congo continued its training this Sunday at Melodrome Stadium in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. So far, all feedback coming from the wrestlers involved in the new club has been very positive, with at least one wrestler relaying to WrestleMap that they love being with the club so far and that the man in charge, Champion Dix-Francs (the club’s founder and president), is a true professional.
Dix-Francs has continued his professional approach to the formation of the club that he hopes will redefine Congolese pro wrestling. This week, Dix-Francs, the WWC’s leader and inaugural champion, unveiled the WWC’s newly acquired club jackets that are adorned with the club’s dual logos.
Last week’s Sunday training session featured a big guest and a face to face meeting between two of Africa’s top champions. Zombi De Kibambi wasn’t in attendance at the WWC’s camp this week, but Dix-Francs did seem to indicate that the African Champion will be again in the future.
With the possibility that champions from around Africa could stop by any given week, it seems pretty apparent that WWC are getting things done and making things happen. That professional approach is paying off and wrestlers want to work with the WWC.
There are still discussions that we could see Zombi De Kibambi and Dix-Francs sparring in a friendly exhibition at some point in the ring soon. At the rate WWC has been making things happen as of late, who knows, that might even happen next week!
