Bada Dashai Mahabhidanta wrestling event will be held in Gurje by Nepal Ring Wrestling Association on October 1
The Nepal Ring Wrestling Association Nuwakot District Committee is going to organize the "Bada Dashai Mahabhidanta" Ring Wrestling Tournament next week. The General Secretary of Nepal Ring Wrestling Association, Subarna Shrestha, informed in a press conference held on Friday that a wrestling competition will be held at Kalika Ma. vi. in Gurje, Nuwakot, Nepal on October 01 in association with Shivpuri Rural Municipality

Five popular categories will be contested in the competition, which is estimated to cost around 12 lakh nepali rupees. The heavyweight category winner will get Rs.150,000, the triple threat winner will get Rs.75,000, the tag team winner will get Rs.85,000, the lightweight female winner will get Rs.65,000 and the lightweight (male) winner will get Rs.55,000.
It is said that the famous wrestlers of Nepal, such as Nuwakote Tiger, David, Chattan, Shine, Tuppy Gang, John, CJ World, Baka, Tanu, Akriti, Spidermans, X Hero, Sujal, King Robert and others will compete in the event. The competition will start on October 1st at 1 PM Nuwakot, Nepal time.

Chairman of Shivpuri Village Municipality, Gobind Prasad Thapalia, said that the Municipality has supported the event as wrestling will help to promote local tourism. "We believe that this game will not only help locally, it will boost the country's tourism industry," he said. "It will introduce the country to the international level."
Shivpuri Village Ward No. 6 has also provided financial support to the competition. The press conference was attended by Shivpuri Village Vice President Bir Bahadur Tamang, Ward No. 6 Chairman Bishnu Shrestha, Kalika Ma. vi. Principal Krishna Kumar Shrestha and others.
