New Colombian promotion set to debut this weekend with big main event
Pro Evolution Wrestling is set to kick off their in ring operations on Saturday in Bogota, Colombia with an event called The Beginning featuring international wrestlers and a big main event with world renowned wrestlers.
Announced for PEW’s debut show so far are five matches including the big time main event. The show was originally to be held at Coliseo Cayetano Canizares, an arena in Bogota, Colombia that can seat 4,000 fans with action set to kick off at 6 PM Bogota time. However, a last minute venue change was necessary and PEW will instead be hosting the event from the San Fernando Neighborhood Cultural Hall. PEW has shared that any fans that have already purchased tickets to the event will be able to enter the event at the new venue.
The show is set to feature both Colombian wrestlers and international wrestling stars. In the night’s first match, Colombian scene regular Necronightmare will take on Bruno and DHB in a triple threat match. Two singles matches are then to follow that will pit Golden Striper vs. Diablo Maldito and Terror Star vs. El Cuervo.
In the night’s second to last match, an international trios match is planned. The bout will see the talented Colombian stable of Chimba Club, that consists of Ramsody Guerrero, El Zohan and Buk Danger, take on an international trio of wrestlers that will make the trip to Colombia from the USA. The international team consists of Aron Sykes, Syrus and Izzy James. This bout will surely feature some fast paced action and high flying skill.

That talented, high flying action will continue in the big time triple threat main event. Set to compete in that bout are: Low Rider, a talented high flyer currently based in the USA but who is well traveled, recently competing in countries such as Nepal and Pakistan; “M Dogg” Matt Cross, the impossibly talented high flyer who is best known for his work on the American independent scene, Lucha Underground, the National Wrestling Alliance and internationally as he has competed in nearly every country that has a pro wrestling scene; and Black Taurus, the intimidating luchador who is currently in his first reign as AAA Latin American Champion and has made appearances for Impact Wrestling as well.
