Argentina’s Lucha Extrema presents “Reborn” after 3 years of hiatus

Professional wrestling comes back to La Plata after 3 silent years, and that honor is by way of Tolosa based promotion, Lucha Extrema. “Reborn” is the name of the show that will present the new generation of wrestlers to the public, and that name is accurate due to the history behind said promotion. Reborn is scheduled for Saturday, December 18th at Club Villa Rivera, Lucha Extrema’s home venue, starting at 5 PM (17:00 HS) Buenos Aires time.

Reborn’s card presents the best talent that Argentinian wrestling can offer, with a mix of young talent, known faces, and legends of Argentinian wrestling.

At this show great personalities of the scene will be guests, like Vicente Viloni and La Masa, who will leave their historical conflicts behind, to witness the big change that comes from Lucha Extrema.

Opening the show, they will have the two biggest prospects of Lucha Extrema’s Division Juvenil. Dani Pixel will face Hell Jack in a one-on-one contest to determine the next #1 Contender for the Campeonato Juvenil, where both will seek the victory above anything else.

Over the years, these two wrestlers have been the pride of Lucha Extrema for their in-ring skill and ability. They have faced each other in live shows, but they have never met in a singles match, until now, where they will define who is the best, and who is going to get the glory.

The second match will be between four other prospects of the division, and it will be a Tornado Tag Team match. Los Hermanos O’Lenstein will face Alex Crowley and Matheus, to show the audience that they are here to stay.

The third match will be an Open Challenge from the Campeon Juvenil, Doctor Plaga. This wrestler has been the biggest representative of the division since its creation. The Campeonato Juvenil is synonymous with Doctor Plaga, and over the years he has wrestled great wrestlers that tried to take said championship away from him. Doctor Plaga makes his intentions clear, and looks for someone that can confront him after all these years. Who will be the right one?

In the fourth match, we will have one of the most important wrestlers in Argentina, the Federacion Argentina de Lucha Champion, Jorge Lucero, facing Cerberus.

In the Pre-Main Event we will have Sky, one of Lucha Extrema's pillars during these years, facing Juan Guzman in a match that will define the path of each wrestler in the next year.

And in the Main Event, in a "No Disqualification" match, popular wrestler Chris Kasai looks to stand up against Malif to close a day with the best pro-wrestling in the country.

This event represents the rebirth of Lucha Extrema from the dark times as its name indicates and it will introduce the generation of wrestlers that will carry the brand on their back for the next few years to come. It's been a complicated few years for everyone, but Musambe Tutu's promotion promises that this long wait will have been worth it.
