WrestleMap founder presented award and other photos from Friday’s Pro Wrestling Africa show
Friday’s Pro Wrestling Africa show Battle of Yaoundé is still a hot topic among international wrestling fans. A controversial championship victory by Michel Noudem over Power Lee has led to some questions as to what exactly happened. A referee issued a clearly fast three count to help Michel Noudem win the championship, leaving some fans to theorize that Power Lee was the victim of a dubious scheme by Noudem and the referee. It’s also possible that the referee made a mistake in a very tense moment.
Aside from the main event, there are some miscellaneous topics to cover from last week in Yaoundé, as well as some unseen photos to share.
One topic that we’re eager to share is the awards presentation that took place at the event. Pro Wrestling Africa graciously presented WrestleMap founder Bryan Anderson with the International Royal Award for Pro Wrestling Excellence, pictured below. The other recipient from outside of Pro Wrestling Africa to receive this award was the president of the country of Cameroon, Paul Biya, whose award was accepted on behalf of the Cameroon Minister of Sports. PWA also honored three of its own, Power Lee, Michel Noudem and one more of WrestleMap’s own, Olusesan Olukoya, with awards as well.
WrestleMap would like to thank Pro Wrestling Africa for the honors that our site has received on their behalf over this past weekend. Thank you Pro Wrestling Africa!
