Pakistan’s REW announces name of weekly television program, releases first poster for upcoming series

More details are becoming available from Pakistan’s Revolution Eastern Wrestling about their upcoming television debut that we covered in detail previously on this site. The company’s deal with Venus HD TV will ensure that REW will be the first Pakistani pro wrestling company to broadcast its pro wrestling product over the television airwaves in Pakistan.

Sources from within REW reached out to WrestleMap today to provide some additional details including the name of the weekly television series, the first official poster for the series and an idea of when the first episode is expected to air.

As relayed to WrestleMap from sources within REW, the new weekly series will be titled Venus War. The title of the series is a nod to the channel that will be airing the series, Venus HD TV. The company’s official poster for the new weekly series, featuring REW wrestlers such as The Kovu Brandon, Xekay, XMAK, Hawkberg, and more, can be seen above.

When pressed for an official debut date for the new weekly series, our source within REW continued to play it close to the vest, but did offer an interesting morsel to WrestleMap, indicating that the series will debut “soon” and “next month.” Seeing as how today is the lat day of August, it appears as if the series could be making its debut as soon as within the next few weeks.

A recent post to REW Fight or Die Champion Xekay’s Instagram gave us a little sneak peak into what the ring and set will look like when Venus War debuts in September. When more details become available regarding the debut date of Venus War, we’ll do our best to provide an update here on WrestleMap!
