Winner Crowned in Australian Wrestling’s Marquee Battle Royal

The Ballroom Brawl, one of the marquee matches in Australian pro wrestling, went down this past Saturday, March 13th. This year’s high stakes, 20 person battle royal was won by Mitch Waterman after a few twists and turns. Waterman now has the ability to challenge for the Melbourne City Wrestling World Championship at any time over the course of the next year. After being forced to cancel the 2020 Ballroom Brawl due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the MCW faithful were thrilled to be back in attendance for the annual battle royal. This year’s match, and the rest of the card, featured some of Australian independent wrestling’s absolute best. Melbourne City Wrestling consistently features some of the best wrestlers in Australia, something they are becoming known for, both inside Australia and out.
