Pakistan’s Revolution Eastern Wrestling set to hold first King of the Ring tournament at Karachi water park
On May 6th, 2023, Karachi-based Pakistani pro wrestling promotion Revolution Eastern Wrestling is set to return to the ring for what is sure to be an memorable afternoon of pro wrestling with a unique backdrop.
REW will hold their first ever King of the Ring tournament at Wild Venture Water Park in Karachi at the aptly titled King of the Ring event. The unique backdrop of a pro wrestling show at a water park paired with this momentous first of its kind wrestling tournament being held in Pakistan should certainly leave the Karachi fans with a pro wrestling event that they will not soon forget.
We’ve received some details regarding the tournament and match card that will fill out the rest of King of the Ring. An eight wrestler field of established REW veterans and international visitors will compete for the opportunity to become Pakistan’s first King of the Ring.
The first round of the tournament is set to feature the following matches:
XMAK vs. Noor Zai
The Kion vs. Sahil G
Ahmed Boyka vs. Prince Ahmed
MHK vs. Noom
The first round winners will then advance to the semifinals, with the semifinal winners getting the opportunity to compete to become King of the Ring.
Also on the slate is a ten person battle royal for the REW Indian Championship. The current champion Hawkberg will be forced to survive the battle royal to retain his championship belt while fending off dangerous challengers Xekay, Jumma Zaib, Yilduz Deliler, Talha Ali, Green Cheetah, JRJ, Rokaag, Yohanna Bhatti and Sohail Khilari.
The REW World Heavyweight Championship will also be on the line as reigning champion The Kovu Brandon will take on the returning Jordan Hurr in a death match for the REW World Heavyweight Championship in Jordan Hurr’s first match back after injury. A violent match of this type will surely be an intense challenge in Jordan Hurr’s first match back.
