The Federal House of Representatives Committee on Sports during the interactions session asked the Nigeria Pro-wrestling Federation to outline and submit their program of events held over the years as well as upcoming events. According to the House committee, ‘’We need to verify what has been done in the past and see if the NPWF as a national body has been promoting the sport of professional wrestling as claimed; and also see how we can key in now so as to take the sport to the next level in Nigeria.

‘’Before the committee could do anything to support the Federation’s upcoming projects and programs, we have to be sure that such support will get to the targeted wrestlers and the capability of the Federation to deliver accordingly is very important,’’ said the House Committee on Sports Deputy Chairman Hon. Rauf Moddibo who chaired the session.

Letters were submitted to the office of the Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives, through the Sports committee for a courtesy visit after the two week break.
