Former Congolese wrestling champion Force One passes away

Sad news coming from the Democratic Republic of the Congo today. Samuel Okito Van-Caster, also known as Force One, has sadly passed away in the city of Lubumbashi after a battle with illness. Force One was a former Federation Congolais de Catch (FCC, Belgian version) Champion. The title, which is overseen by a board headed up by Belgian wrestling fan and promoter Thierry Rhodan, is currently held by the son of legendary Congolese pro wrestler Edingwe, Makidiba. Thierry relayed the unfortunate news of Force One’s passing to WrestleMap this morning.

Not only was Force One a pro wrestler but was also active in MMA and boxing training. We received word that one of his students has recently gone on to start a very successful boxing career. The young former champion will certainly be missed by many. RIP Force One.
