Big arena event set for Brazzaville with Republic of the Congo’s top championship on the line

On February 3rd, the FECOLUSAF Championship of the Congo in Classic Style is on the line as RTGA will challenge Safrane for the Republic of the Congo’s top title! We’re happy to have helped sponsor this event and hope to bring video of the show to the WrestleMap site!

The title will be on the line at the Nicole Oba Gymnasium in Brazzaville, the site of the Brawl in Brazzaville, an event that we helped to put together in 2021. This time, the stakes will be higher as the top title in Congo-Brazzaville is up for grabs! Safrane has reigned as Champion of the Congo since April 28th, 2022 when he defeated Lourd Biankouikila in a bout for the vacant title and then was able to retain the title belt at the Congo National Championship event that concluded on July 31st, 2022. The challenger, RTGA Du Pouvoir, had a multi year reign as FECOLUSAF Champion of Brazzaville before dropping the title at the 2022 Departmental Championship after being eliminated in the championship qualifying battle royal.

Several other of the top stars of Congo-Brazzaville are also advertised for the undercard, including Champion of the Congo in Congolese style (catch fetiche/voodoo wrestling) Kabo Waces, former champion of the Congo in Congolese style Yaya Palmas, Roi Du Ring, Vipere Du Desert Maseke, Fils Dragon, Lucifer, Zombie Aigle, Bougie Rouge, Ozana and Bebe Sirene.
