African Wrestling Organization Light Heavyweight Champion De Executioner looking to defend title against South African star

“De Executioner is a world market to be supported” – Amb. Obih

Chief Amb. Dr. CFC Obih (ugoabata), the National President of the United Market Leaders and Traders Association of Nigeria, former president General, Ladipo Auto Parts, Mushin Lagos State, has raised his voice that the African Wrestling Organization (AWO) Light Heavyweight Champion and Title holder is a world market to be supported so as to achieve his aim of successfully defending the title against TJ Tremor, a south African challenger, by the end of the year in Anambra State.

“We have decided to support ‘’De Executioner’’ who has his real name as Angus Emeadi [and] who hails from Ebenato in Nnewi south Local Government of Anambra State in his bid to defend his African Wrestling Organization (AWO) light heavyweight title. He has been doing well and he needs to be encouraged. Angus has weathered the storm in the world of wrestling and has wrestled with the best Nigerian and African pro wrestling talents you can think of. He is looking forward to defending the African Wrestling Organization (AWO) light heavyweight title, which he won in Lagos on the 19th December 2020 after slugging it out with and defeating his Sierra Leonean opponent Ambudim, popularly known as “De Shark,” a few minutes into the bout, which enabled him to clinch the highly rated AWO African Light Heavyweight championship title. He deserves our support. We want to thank God for High Chief John Uche who also saw the potential in him, likewise other well-meaning Nigerians. I believe in team work and with my team at the United Market Leaders and Traders Association of Nigeria, we will definitely put in our best to see to a great title defense.”

On the preparation on ground to support his title defense, chief said he and his team are leaving no stone unturned to see to a great event. ‘’We are going host him, honor him and also appreciate him. All that would encourage him the more as we would be having an event on the 25th of August 2023 at the Meals and Event Center, Okota road. to show our solidarity for him and the wrestling championship that would hold on the 26th December in Anambra State,’’ he explained.

On his advice to the youth, he said, ‘’we would like to support every visionary youth to stardom from any part of Nigeria. I want to implore the youths to work hard, believe in themselves and then wait for God’s timing which is the best. The future is indeed bright for our youths, upcoming wrestlers and the game of wrestling but we must keep doing what we are doing. We are here to support every dream to reality.”
