Turkey’s First Female Wrestling Champion Defends Title, Compass Wrestling Releases New Show

Turkey’s first female wrestling champion, Nil Yildirim, and Compass Wrestling, are back in action with a new show available on their YouTube that premiered today at 10 AM Eastern Standard Time on their YouTube channel.

The DIY indie wrestling group out of Istanbul celebrates their second anniversary with Aydinlink 2, titled in memory of their friend and original member of the wrestling crew that would go on to become Compass, Aydin Dolapci.

At Aydinlink 2, Nil Yildirim is set to defend her Compass Wrestling Championship against the man she defeated to claim the title, Cesar Cage, in a no disqualification match. Cage has a distinct size advantage over Nil but Nil is feisty and confident in the ring and will surely have the assistance of her boyfriend Anil Ilmaz in the match.

Anil will also be in action himself in a 5 man “Road To The Championship” match with the winner getting a future shot at the Compass Wrestling title. The other competitors will be Cesar Cage, SOS, Saint Alphie and Grand Yabgu. If Anil Ilmaz comes out victorious and is forced to face his girlfriend Nil Yildirim (if she is able to defend against Cesar Cage that is) for the Compass Wrestling Title, things could be very interesting.

Also in announced action will be SOS and Saint Alphie to kick off the show.
