Middle Kingdom Wrestling promotes positivity through pro wrestling with new slogan, "Don't Lay Flat, Get up and Wrestle"

Chinese pro wrestling organization Middle Kingdom Wrestling (MKW摔角王国) has launched their new slogan in China and for an international audience, featuring pro wrestling stars such as Ricardo Rodriguez and Zeda Zhang.

The campaign slogan being promoted this year is, "Don't Lay Flat, Get up and Wrestle", which is a direct English translation of "不要躺平,起来摔角", or also read in PinYin: "Bu Yao TangPing, QiLai ShuaiJiao."

As a global community, there have been recent hardships that may have made it easy to feel content to just lie flat, and to not set new personal and professional development goals. Mentally, some people may have found themselves feeling more stressed and anxious about certain uncontrollable aspects of the world. It's easy to fall into disillusion and to "lay flat", and so MKW wants to contribute toward pushing positive mental attitudes and also wants to take this opportunity to use pro wrestling to promote positivity.

The new MKW slogan pushes a call to action: Don't Lay Flat..

Get up and keep working on yourself!

Get up and keep fighting for your future!

to

Get up and Wrestle!

The launch of the new slogan was accompanied by an art piece by Thai artist, "P-Nut Butter Studio", depicting a humorous painting involving a pro wrestling cat and a piece of merchandise was also sold alongside it to help spread the message domestically.

Take the call to action from MKW: Don't Lay Flat, Get up and Wrestle!
