I WILL REIGN SUPREME DURING THE BATTLEGROUND 2021 TOURNAMENT IN NIGERIA – DE MIGHTY MAN

De Mighty Man who has his real name as Happy Okolo the National Wrestling Alliance of Nigeria (NWAN) heavyweight champion and title holder who is now eyeing the Nigeria Pro Wrestling Federation Heavyweight title has voiced out that he is on a mission which he must accomplish without looking back.

Born to the families of Samuel Okolo who hailed from Emu-Uno in Ndokwa West local government area and Jany Okolo from Ator Umuachi in Ndokwa East local government area both in Delta State on the 2nd of February 1974 at Emu-Uno in Ndokwa West, De Mighty Man started his pro wrestling career in 1998 and was trained by Elephando Bassey, the grand wizard of African pro wrestling who also reigned in the late 70s and 80s. De Mighty had Hot Tempo as his first opponent and Michael Kovak of Austria as his toughest opponent. He had his most memorable match against same Michael Kovak during the BRF Wrestlemania 2011 and he has been training had to reign supreme during the BATTLEGROUND 2021 Wrestling tournament to enable him cart away the NWPF Heavyweight title during the event.  

‘’I have weathered the storm and also paid my dues as a heavyweight contender at the National level. I am ripe to be the NPWF championship title now and nothing, I say nothing can stop me. I am the strongest African pro wrestler in the heavyweight category’’ Mighty Man explained.

‘’My plans are to go back home and pay homage to the community leaders in Emu-Uno where I hailed from and also pay courtesy visit to Hon. Ifeanyichukwu Christopher Osakwe, the Executive Chairman of the Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State at Its headquarters in the town of Kwale (Utagba-Ogbe). A river that forgets its source will get dry, so it is mandatory for me to go back home. No place like home.  Charity begins from home. I need the blessings of my elders as well as the Local Government chairman to forge ahead’’ he concluded.

Mighty Man who had The Undertaker as his childhood wrestling hero has the number one citizen of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as the personality he would like to meet. He is fully ready to claim what is rightfully his this season of showcasing African and Nigerian Warlords. He may not find it easy as other great Nigerian wrestlers like Strongbone Erujeje, Iron Scarter, Rocky Johnson, Mr. Sharpman and a host of others would also be on the list of Nigerian talents who would be showcasing themselves as well.  All the best to De Mighty Man who has all it takes to claim the NPWF Heavyweight title.
