Nigeria Pro Wrestling Federation releases updated poster for upcoming June 13 show

More details of the upcoming National Security, Peace and Unity Wrestling Championship set for Abuja, Nigeria on June 13th are coming available as the date approaches. With this new information comes a new, updated poster from the Nigeria Pro Wrestling Federation.

Originally, the NPWF had hoped to bring some European talent and talent from around Africa in for the June 13th show. However, Covid-19 travel restrictions continue to make that difficult. Instead, the NPWF has opted to stick with homegrown Nigerian talents this time around. With the focus of this event being on national security, unity and peace, that decision makes sense. It makes even more sense when you consider what will be on the line in the the show’s main event.

The winner of the main event will take home the prestigious National Security, Peace and Unity trophy and will also be appointed a National Peace Ambassador. With an important responsibility like that, and the involvement in the community that would be required, it makes the most sense that the event’s winner should be a Nigerian wrestler.

While we inch closer to June 13th, expect more coverage of this event here at WrestleMap!
