Mayhem breaks out at ringside as Queen Shakira stabs and eats opponent in catch fetiche match

This is one that needs to be seen to be believed.

One of our favorite things to bring to a wider audience outside of the Congo is catch fetiche, the Congolese style of pro wrestling that’s rooted in traditional mystical voodoo practices.

This match video, however, is unlike many other catch fetiche matches that we have seen. This new release to YouTube features two matches. The first match is credited as Queen Shakira vs. Mi Golba, however, this does not appear to be the same Migolba that we have reported on previously here on WrestleMap, the current holder of the LICAKIN Mont Amba District Championship belt.

The match starts out with both wrestlers exchanging some traditional pro wrestling offense and Shakira taking some punishment as she usually does early on in matches. That doesn’t last long, though, as Shakira soon appears to enter into a trance like state and brandishes a knife on her opponent. After taking her opponent down, Shakira proceeds to stab, and then eat, her opponent in the middle of the ring. Yes, you read that correctly. A melee breaks out amongst the crowd at ringside as all of this is going down, which is quite possibly a result of the action inside the ring. Shakira proceeds to feast from her opponents abdominal area as blood runs down her face. The referee appears to stop the match at this point, but it’s unsure whether or not Shakira is given the victory for incapacitating her opponent, or if the referee throws the match out due to the seemingly grave injuries Shakira’s opponent has suffered.

Shakira eventually stumbles out of the ring, completely covered in blood and holding what appears to be pieces of her opponent’s flesh, still in a trancelike state. Her opponent lies motionless in the middle of the ring for a number of minutes until some other wrestlers enter the ring and carry the unresponsive wrestler away.

The second bout in the video features a more traditional style of pro wrestling but with a hardcore element to it, as some weapons are used. Unfortunately, we’re unsure of those competitors names and don’t recognize them at first glance from the video. Overall, it’s a good match and the whole video is worth your time.
