Quebec promotion planning ‘dumbest match ever’ and looking for help

Inter Species Wrestling, a promotion based out of Quebec, Canada that’s probably best known for its unique match types and lightheartedness, is planning what it’s calling “the dumbest wrestling match ever.”

What makes the match so “dumb?” It’s use of LEGO’s. But it’s not just that LEGO’s will be involved, as ISW has become known for their “LEGO Death Matches” in the past and the use of LEGO’s as a painful object for opponents to land on has crossed over into mainstream wrestling as well, occasionally being used in hardcore matches. Instead, it’s the sheer volume of LEGO’s that the promotion wants to use in the match. How many LEGO’s is that, you ask? One million!

You read that right…one million LEGO’s! Believe it or not, it’s pretty tough to acquire that many LEGO’s. So in order to help make their dream of putting on the dumbest wrestling match ever, ISW is asking for help from the fans. That help can either come in the form of the direct donation of LEGO’s or funds that will be used to purchase LEGO’s. Fans that are interested in helping will be eligible to receive some pretty cool rewards through the company’s GoFundme that they have set up in order to help this match take place. You can also visit their website for more information about the match and ISW as a whole.

The title belt that ISW has designed for the winner of the dumbest match ever. They’re also offering a replica version to a limited number of fans that reach a specific donation tier.

So far, no date has been selected for the dumb match due to the promotion wanting to wait to do it until things are relatively safe in regards to the Covid-19 pandemic. A venue has been selected, however. It’s set to go down in the USA, in Williamstown, New Jersey from the H20 Wrestling Center. The H20 Wrestling Center has seen it’s share of hardcore craziness, but I think it’s safe to say it’s never seen anything like this.

If you’re looking forward to this match taking place or even if you just really love LEGO’s, consider giving ISW a hand to make this happen!
