Making his intentions known: The Wolf NDA wants to wrestle in the USA
The Wolf NDA is one of the biggest stars in African pro wrestling today. The Cameroonian wrestler is currently the Pro Wrestling Africa Middleweight Champion and recently defended that title by beating his rival Buffalo in a match that saw some really stiff, unbreakable tables become involved. So now that he has vanquished his old foe and was able to protect his championship gold, what is next for The Wolf NDA?
The Wolf hopes that one of the things that comes next is achieving a career-long goal of his. The Wolf wants to wrestle in the United States. While he has been able to travel and wrestle throughout the continent of Africa and has even competed in the Middle East in the past, it is kind of surprising that The Wolf hasn’t had an opportunity to compete in the U.S. up to this point. A charismatic and highly athletic performer with a great physique, The Wolf NDA has all the tools that a wrestler would need to make an impact on the U.S. indie wrestling scene, and possibly even on a bigger stage. The fact that he is a native French speaker but proficient in English, and also a talented musician, makes it all the more apparent that he has a lot to bring to the table for any promotion that would be interested in bringing him in. If you also add in the fact that he has a growing cult fan base in the U.S. already, he seems primed for American pro wrestling success.
Although it would be a long road to get there if he is given a chance to wrestle in the United States, The Wolf NDA has a lofty career goal.
“Do you know my big dream, bro? It is to one day face Brock Lesnar. I’m telling you, the entire continent of Africa would like to see it.”
The Wolf is probably right. While we can’t speak for an entire continent, the entire continent of Africa would most likely love to see that match. The Wolf has a great connection with the fans, possibly the best out of all African wrestlers, and that is one of the hardest things for a pro wrestler to do. Many wrestlers that are currently wrestling in America, even on some of the biggest stages, are unable to form the connection and get the reactions that The Wolf is able to get.
Obviously with the state of the world during the Covid-19 pandemic, international travel is a little bit more difficult right now. But once things are more normal on that end, we believe an American company could benefit greatly by bringing in The Wolf NDA.
