Poland’s PpW is back in a big way

The fans are back at 2KOLA in Warsaw! Poland’s home for hardcore and hybrid wrestling, PpW, made their return to live action on June 12th and the collective from Warsaw didn’t miss a step after the long, forced break due to Covid-19.

One of wrestling’s best crowds picked up exactly where they left off before the Covid-19 pandemic and were hot and loud throughout Ledwo Legalne, which is Polish for “barely legal.” The ECW parallels don’t stop with the show’s name, though. There really are a lot of similarities between the two companies. Both companies had constantly hot crowds that created a unique atmosphere in the venue. Both companies brought a new style of wrestling to their country that hadn’t been seen before on the level that they were producing it. Both specialized in violence but also had a touch of unique and exciting wrestling styles that couldn’t be seen anywhere else in their home countries.

The action itself is worth catching but we don’t want to give too much away because we think you should watch this! But in the first match, Rob Scaffold and Tony Sk1n put on a nice athletic display with some high flying offense. The second match of the night saw Madman Charlie and Isnorr engage in some hard hitting offense, with Isnorr showing off some power while Charlie displayed his proficiency for strikes and strong style wrestling. Steven Strong and Adam Wong had a mix of striking offense and some high impact hardcore wrestling spots. Johnny Blade and his hardcore open challenge mystery opponent, who ended up being Hades, bled and brawled all over 2KOLA. The night’s main event saw a PpW Championship Title epic with a great mix of hardcore violence and technical proficiency with a twist ending. Check out the full show below, we really think you’ll enjoy this!
