Hungarian Championship Wrestling returns to performing in front of a live audience

After a forced break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hungarian Championship Wrestling is back in front of a live audience for the first time in nearly a year on June 26th. HCW is set to get back in the ring in Budapest this Saturday for their event A Dicsőség Napjára, which translates to Day of Glory.

The action on Saturday for the returning company sounds like it will definitely entertain their fans in attendance. Two title matches are scheduled for the event, with the vacant HCW Championship being decided in the night’s main event between Maverick and Nitro. HCW Revolution Champion Chris Dice is also scheduled to defend his championship against challenger Hos Antal. The HCW tag team champions, the Arrows of Hungary, will also be in action but instead of defending their titles, they’ll be doing their best to survive a 5 on 2 elimination match. The Arrows of Hungary are one of the hottest tag teams in European indie wrestling right now, as they’re being booked throughout the continent, including in Austria this coming September as part of the Emperor of Austria tournament show that we’ve covered here on WrestleMap.

If you’re in Hungary or will be in the Budapest area this Saturday, you can find tickets at the following link. If you aren’t able to attend, check out HCW’s social media for any updates on how to watch the company’s big return show online!
