South India’s Rancor Fighters releases first match in new YouTube special

Rancor Fighters, based in Kerala, India has released their first match. The match release comes as part of the build up to the new company’s first event, Desert Storm. Today’s video release was titled Road To Desert Storm so we may be seeing more of these exhibition matches as we inch closer to Rancor Fighters’s official debut.

In the company’s first match, Vineeth Antony, one of the new company’s founders, goes toe to toe with Ron Billions.

This is the first time we have seen either compete in the ring and it is likely the first official match for both competitors. So a big congratulations is in order to both men.

The match does a good job of establishing Vineeth Antony as a vicious heel, as he picks on and punishes the smaller Ron Billions, even after the conclusion of the match. This unnecessary violence leads to Rancor Fighters co-founder Arun Haridas making the save on behalf of his co-worker, and most likely trainee, Ron Billions. Things get a little heated and hardcore from there between Arun and Vineeth.

Heading into Desert Storm, it looks like there is already some serious bad blood between the two men behind Rancor Fighters. It will be interesting to see if they run into each other at all during the Kerala Championship tournament that’s scheduled for Desert Storm. With championship gold on the line, who knows what these two will be willing to do to each other to get the win after the way this first encounter ended.
