Mike Bailey & Veda Scott to host EWF show from Brazil live on Twitch this Sunday

This Sunday, Evolution Wrestling Force will be returning to the ring in Porto Alegre, Brazil for the first time since December 2019. Making their return even more exciting is the international exposure it will be getting. Speedball Mike Bailey and Veda Scott are set to host the event live from Bailey’s Twitch account.

The stream is set to go live at 5 PM EST on Sunday, October 17th. So far, three matches have been announced for the show which has been titled Just Fight. Two singles matches have been announced, with KaOz and Sombreiro set to go head to head as well as Dano Cerebral and Peter Sigma. A triple threat match is also scheduled to take place between Eddie, Hollow and Toad.

EWF has announced that Speedball will be conducting live post match interviews with the wrestlers on the stream. Since Bailey and Veda Scott are co-hosting the event, and Veda is a seasoned and skilled wrestling announcer, we are assuming that Veda will also be helping to provide commentary for the matches. If that is the case, Veda’s insight and knowledge should help to create an even more enjoyable and informative experience for wrestling fans that have not had the chance to catch any EWF action up to this point.

Two of the wrestlers that will be in action this Sunday, KaOz and Hollow, compete in a very entertaining hardcore match. We recommend checking this one out ahead of Sunday’s card.

Ahead of the event, WrestleMap connected with Brazilian wrestler Arthur Donnar to get some insight into how this event came about and what to expect. Donnar shared that he met Speedball Bailey when he was in Germany. Donnar was training with WXW and attended a seminar that Bailey hosted at the WXW Academy. Donnar was forced to leave Germany due to the Covid-19 pandemic and return to Brazil in early 2020. However, he and Bailey stayed in touch. Bailey expressed interest in streaming some wrestling from around the world, including from Brazil on his Twitch stream, an endeavor that we wholeheartedly support, and Donnar was able to help make the connection with EWF.

Arthur shared that there will be a limited amount of fans in attendance for the event, around 30 or so. The limited capacity is a result of Covid-19 precautions and restrictions still in place in the area. Live pro wrestling still hasn’t fully returned to the pre-pandemic level quite yet in Brazil.

The hope is that this platform will help elevate Brazilian pro wrestling and create more awareness and visibility, not only for the EWF, but for the entire Brazilian scene. There are absolutely some talented wrestlers in the country, and in the EWF specifically, that are capable of putting on impressive performances and memorable matches, with the match between KaOz and Hollow that we shared earlier in this piece being just a small sample of the many more examples available on the company’s YouTube page. Speaking of KaOz, he’s one talent that we feel that the co-hosts, especially Speedball Bailey, will find impressive if they have not seen him in the ring before. KaOz, similar to Bailey, is a skilled and experienced martial artist who can translate that skill into his performance in the ring quite impressively.

This live stream is a great endeavor and something we would love to see more of in terms of international pro wrestling becoming easily available to audiences around the world. Kudos to Mike Bailey and Veda Scott for helping to make this happen and congratulations to the EWF and the Brazilian wrestling scene as a whole for getting the opportunity to perform for a larger audience outside of their home country.
