New season of Middle Kingdom Wrestling’s “Blast-Off” series set to start October 15th on YouTube
China’s Middle Kingdom Wrestling will resume their successful “Blast-Off” series this coming Friday. The last season of Blast-Off concluded with a rousing success as MKW held their first ever live audience event of the popular show. Not only was the live portion of the event a success, but the live stream of the event on Chinese streaming site Huya became the most watched pro wrestling event in China since 2019 according to MKW’s numbers.

The live event saw a new MKW World Champion crowned as Coldray put an end to Zombie Dragon’s nearly year and a half long reign. The Friday, October 15th event will be the beginning of the Coldray Era for the company and MKW has already confirmed the champion for the broadcast. Besides that, the only other confirmed appearances for the show are the return of Black Mamba and an eight man tag between The Stable (Ash Silva, Big Sam and Uncle Money) and Steve The ESL Teacher taking on MKW Tag Team Champions C2NY (Buffa and DC Chen), Honwan and Wangtao. Anything can happen on this season premier episode and following the massive success of last season’s finale, this should be a good one!
