Pro Wrestling Society to make long awaited return to Seoul for unique Pub Brawl shows
South Korea’s Pro Wrestling Society will be making their return to Seoul for a couple of shows over the next few weeks. These events will be Pub Brawl shows that will feature up close wrestling action for the fans in attendance.
The Pub Brawl shows will mark PWS’s first shows in Seoul in over two years, according to a preview piece recently released by the Korea Times. The events are scheduled for this coming Friday, April 1st, and Friday, April 15th, 2022. This Friday’s Pub Brawl show will take place at Rabbithole Arcade Pub with things kicking off at 8 PM Seoul time.

PWS has shared some hype videos to their social media, providing fans with a preview of what to expect from the Pub Brawl shows. The shows will provide a unique and up close atmosphere between the wrestlers and the fans. Rather than trying to fit a wrestling ring in the pub, the night’s matches instead will be contested on mats, similar to what fans see when watching popular Japanese indie promotion Gatoh Move’s Choco Pro events. This should help fans get a bird’s eye view and feel like they are right on top of, and involved in, the action.
As of now, Pro Wrestling Society hasn’t released any match details for this Friday’s Pub Brawl show. The piece from the Korea Times does mention PWS wrestlers such as Shiho, Jo Kyung-ho, Ha Da-on, JD Lee, Im Hyeon-bin, Choi Du-eok, Kim Mir and Duncan Solaire, many of whom are expected to be in action at the Pub Brawl events. But otherwise, it sounds like you’ll need to be there in order to get the scoop on the matches.
In order to attend the show, be sure to reach out to Pro Wrestling Society on Facebook or Instagram to secure your tickets. The ticket price for this Friday’s Pub Brawl from Rabbithole Arcade Pub is set at 10,000 won. The April 15th event will take place from The Studio HBC with the show set to kick off at 8 PM and ticket prices again costing 10,000 won.
We spoke to one PWS wrestler who shared with WrestleMap how fun these Pub Brawl events can be. They shared with us that the event is usually a party atmosphere with a lot of alcohol flowing in the crowd. To be honest, we’re a little jealous that we can’t be in Seoul for these shows because they sound like a blast.
