Poland’s PpW headed to a new, bigger arena for this weekend’s major show

Warsaw, Poland’s PpW has built an amazing fan base and live crowd atmosphere over the last two years while holding events at their home base of 2KOLA Motorcycle Pub. They’ve been so successful at it that they just can’t possibly fit any more fans into their constantly growing crowd. So for the first time aside from their Posnan Super Show event, PpW will be heading to a new, bigger venue for Ledwo Legalne (which translates to Barely Legal) 2 on Saturday, May 21, 2022..

On May 21, PpW will make their debut from Waldorffa25, a much more wide open space that PpW recently showed off in a video release. This new space should give their rabid crowd more room to grow and should help give some of the fans a little bit more space.

It’s not just the venue that’s getting bigger, but the card for Ledwo Legalne will feature several new competitors to PpW that will be making the trip into Warsaw from multiple European countries.

One of those visiting wrestlers is Steve Kuningas who will be making the trip in from Belgium. He’ll be facing one of PpW’s best, the former PpW Champion, Mister Z. This match is set to be a no disqualification match with no time limit. Mister Z can sometimes come across as the heart and soul of PpW so surely he’ll be on his A game in front of his hometown crowd. His opponent Steve Kuningas, though, is a 14 year veteran who has wrestled in ten different countries and has a significant weight and strength advantage going into the bout. Mr. Z definitely has a tough test ahead but is surely motivated to open PpW’s first event at Waldorffa25 with a strong effort.

The international flavor and high stakes matches don’t stop there. PpW regulars Tony Sk1n and Ricardo Diesel will square off in a singles match. Two wrestlers making their way to PpW via the Czech Republic will also meet in the ring for the first time at a PpW show as ASARA and SkullEvil will do battle. PpW regulars Feager and Adam Wong will also meet one on one.

Both of the final two bouts on the card could easily headline the show. Recently crowned PpW Champion Steven “Biesiad” Strong will be set to make his first defense of the PpW belt. However, his opponent is not announced and instead will be a mystery heading into the match. There is always a lot of excitement around matches where one of the opponents is a mystery and that excitement doubles when a title is on the line. While not knowing who his opponent is may serve as a disadvantage for Steven heading into the match, it likely will not keep him from doing everything he can to keep possession of the title belt. Biesiad has bled buckets for PpW in the past and that dedication will certainly be on display in his first title defense.

The night’s main event should be out of control. In that bout, there will be a rematch from one of PpW’s most historic matches yet and one that WrestleMap has a history with. In the main event, PpW’s own Johnny Blade will get back in the ring with Viking from VCV of the Czech Republic for a Chaos Gods Deathmatch. We’re not entirely sure what stipulation the Chaos Gods part of the deathmatch entails but we have no doubt that this will be absolutely crazy. These two got together for Poland’s first ever barbed wire rope match back in early 2020 and absolutely annihilated each other. After witnessing the punishment these two were willing to go through and put each other through in their first encounter, we’re just hoping that the end of this deathmatch doesn’t end with what the match stipulation implies.

Action for Ledwo Legalne 2 is set to kick off at 20:00h (or 8 PM) Warsaw time. For fans of pro wrestling that are in or around the Warsaw area, you don’t want to miss this.
