NIGERIA WRESTLERS ARE WORLD BEATERS – Eze Nwosu
The Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee of the Nigeria Pro Wrestling Federation (NPWF) much awaited Presidential pro wrestling Fight Against Corruption tagged ’’BATTLEGROUND 2021’’ billed to commence on the 13th March 2021, the day the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR will unveil the event at Abuja, the federal capital territory, Eze (Dr.) John C. Nwosu, has stated that from the scenario he had seen during the training sessions of the Nigerian wrestlers at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos on Saturday morning in preparation for the timely championship is awesome.
‘’Nigerian wrestlers are great talents who will defeat their opponents coming from other African and worldwide nations considering the training I saw over the weekend. I saw determination, commitments, zeal and readiness on the part of the grapplers. As administrators, we the local organizing committee members are prepared to host the World of wrestling during the much awaited Presidential wrestling proper in May his year as it has just been decided on’’ he explained.
‘’We have been on this for over a year now and the picture is getting clearer by the day. All we require now is the endorsement letter from the Nigerian president. As pro wrestling has been forgotten over the years, this timely event will resuscitate the sport in our part of the wrestling world and showcase the stuff the Nigerian talents are made of’’ he concluded.

‘’Mighty Man, Dakkada Bombers who are the duos of Power Vic and Zion Lion from Akwa Ibom State, Aliking De Action Disaster of the NCDC in Abuja, Mr Sharpman, Dan Ko, Mighty Progress, Strongbone Erujeje, Rocky Johnson Ibadanwa, Wil Mascaras, Young Mike not forgetting the women fold comprising Stylish ‘’J’’, Iron Lady Becky and Alexandra the Queen. Also on the bill are the great African talents like Kilimanjaro of South Africa, Ultimate Power of Ghana, Michel Nodem from Cameroon, Kirikou of Gabon, De Wolf NDA from Cameroon, Black Tiger of Ivory Coast and Buffalo of Angola. They should continue in their career as the world will soon celebrate them. European, America and Asian talents are also on the bill but we are still following the COVID 19 rules and regulations and as that may be, the chances of bringing International talents outside Africa is slim’’ he narrated.
‘’You are all great talents and you are world beaters. Yes, you can deal with other wrestlers internationally and that is why i say you are world beaters. You have all it takes to make it happen. Do it so as to enable us to write the name on the map of wrestling professionally. Please do make it happen and the glory shall come to the Nigerian nation’’ he pleaded with the wrestlers.
