American wrestler Golden Boy to hold training seminar in Cameroon

*“MORE PRO WRESTLING SEMINARS ARE NEEDED IN AFRICA” - Golden Boy*

In pro wrestling, special seminars have become increasingly popular over the last 20 years mostly in the USA and gaining ground around the world now. These are not like your standard training classes, and there's a few things you need to understand, so that you are informed enough to decide if a seminar or "clinic" is going to be worth your money and your time.

Dr. Jim “The Golden Boy” McDowell, who will be in Yaoundé, Cameroon to partake in the much advertised world wrestling championship contest tagged “BATTLEGROUND 2023 on Saturday 22nd July at 6 PM, will be running a wrestling seminar for a few hours for the African pro wrestling stakeholders in Cameroon consisting of professional wrestlers, trainers, trainees, managers, referees, bookers and promoters on Friday July 21st 2023.

Golden Boy, who is a seasoned trainer and seminar organizer, will be doing this for free though it costs lots of money to attend seminars of such magnitude in the USA. It is part of his lineup scheduled in Africa where he hops to support the mat game in the African continent in his own ways. He would like to talk about the non-technical aspects of pro wrestling which are persona, dress, attire, development of character and so on. He also promised to issue certificates of participations to attendees.

The seminar is for those active in professional wrestling to continue their learning or share their knowledge gained over the years on the grunt and groan sport. Pro-Wrestling seminars are for promoting pro-wrestling training, knowledge, camps, tryouts, clinics, and all the learning synonyms in between. Other questions that would be asked are what is the importance of wrestling sports? What benefits can be gained from wrestling? What does the sport of wrestling teach us? What is the most important part of wrestling? And so on.

On the experience of the Golden Boy on wrestling seminars of over the years, “People idolize Pro- wrestlers, Pro-wrestlers are their heroes, fans want to be where wrestlers are in the ring and so on,” are his reactions of the way pro-wrestlers are seen by the outside world. “We as wrestlers do not need to dress like the masses, we should set ourselves apart, even as we dress like a professional, then live and act above and beyond, like an idol/hero the fans are seeing,’’ he concluded.
