Golden Boy to help health sector in Cameroon during visit for title match

“We will support the health sector in Cameroon in our own little ways’’ – Golden Boy

The saying “Health is Wealth” means that health is the biggest wealth anybody can have. Anything can be achieved if we have good health. It is not enough to have money alone, we can make good use of wealth only if we have good health. Good health is not only the absence of disease in the body but a complete physical, mental, social as well as spiritual well-being of an individual.

“I am a dentist by profession. Dentists help their patients to protect, restore and maintain their oral health. We diagnose and treat diseases, and administer care to injuries and malformations of the teeth, oral tissues and the mouth while we also check a patient's head and neck areas as they relate to oral health,” explained Dr. Jim “Golden Boy” McDowell, an American stylish and sensational grappler who will be competing with “Animal” Tazo Alain, the Cameroon National heavyweight champion and title holder, in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Saturday 22nd July, 2023 during the “BATTLEGROUND 2023 World Championship pro wrestling contest.

“My true nature and heart is as a giver! I have 10 Doctor Scrub tops and 10 bio-hazardous lab jackets to be donated in Cameroon as those would be very useful to the health sector practitioners. It will also serve as a goodwill gesture to our medical Ppofessionals who sacrifice so much of their time, effort and knowledge for the health of all in Cameroon. That is our own little way of saying thank you to them. While in Cameroon, we would also want to share our combined knowledge with those healthcare professionals and patients. A person who positively affects the life of another person without asking for anything in return will never see his flow dry up. He becomes strong in times of weakness, and the blessings he receives are like a specially delivered and beautifully packaged miracle,” Golden Boy concluded.

We are aware that dentists help people to care for their teeth and maintain good oral health. Many specialties within the field exist, all with slightly different responsibilities.

Jim concluded the interview session by advising that, to maintain healthy teeth and gums, we need to follow the following steps which are brushing of ones teeth twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush, use fluoride toothpaste; replace your toothbrush every 3 to 4 months or sooner if possible or needed; eat a healthy diet and please avoid sweets and sweetened drinks.
