Title changes and major Pakistani pro wrestling star debuts in third episode of Revolution Eastern Wrestling television

We continue our look at Revolution Eastern Wrestling’s first season of their Venus War television program. Just as a reminder, this is the first Pakistani pro wrestling program to be aired on Pakistani television, with Venus War playing every Saturday at 3 PM and re-airing every Sunday at 5 PM Pakistan time on Venus HD TV. In this week’s episode, REW Fight or Die Champion Xekay suffers a shocking defeat against Yilduz Delilier bringing an end to his so-called “winning streak” and making Yilduz Delilier the new REW Fight or Die Champion after Xekay’s patented championship belt trick backfired. Yilduz was then forced to defend his title for the first time before the end of the event after attacking an REW referee. His opponent was the tough Talha Ali, a martial arts expert. Yilduz was able to hang on to his newly won championship despite the challenger connecting on some nice kicks early on.

REW Asian Champion XMAK makes an appearance and is attacked by a masked individual who is revealed to be the big and muscular Hawkberg, “The Beast of Pakistani Pro Wrestling.” It looks like these two powerhouses are on a collision course and that should be fun to watch.

Elsewhere, Sohail Khilari and Leo Alberto meet in a singles match that Alberto wins after connecting on a big superkick. The Kion and Talha Ali went one on one in a singles match as well that came to an end when The Kion locked in a bridging triangle choke on Ali who had no choice but to tap out. This is the longest episode of Venus War yet and it gives some of the matches a little bit more time to develop.

That trend continued into the main event which is by far the best in ring wrestling match that has been featured so far on Venus War. The debuting Jordan Hurr came off looking like a star and got hardcore in this triple threat match to become the inaugural REW Eastern Champion. His opponents, two masked men named Billu Badmash and White Cobra, put in a good performance too and didn’t back down from Jordan, a noted title holder on the Pakistani scene.
