Over three decades in the profession: Dentist by Day, Pro-Wrestler at Night!
Kudos to Dr. Jimmy McDowell
Dr. Jimmy McDowell, who hails from Little Rock, Arkansas, is a man of two worlds. He double as a wrestler and a dentist, is a jack of two trades and master of both. Jimmy, who has the heritage of Benin Republic & Togo both in West Africa, by day runs his dental office while by night, he runs circles around his opponents in the wrestling ring dealing with them squarely.
“I fix teeth by day and knock ‘em out at night,” he joked. ‘’I have done this around the USA and other places and I have focus to take the challenge to Africa now. I am able and ready. I want the wrestlers from Africa, the second largest continent after Asia, to also feel the impact of my pro wrestling gimmicks,’’ concluded Jimmy.
The 61-year-old multi talented superman, who studied at the LSU Dental School, has juggled this double life for over three decades and he is proving a point that one can indeed do anything his or her heart desires. “You can have your dreams fulfilled at any age,” said the award winning wrestler known around the wrestling world as ‘’Golden Boy’’.
His double passions started when he was a young child growing up in Arkansas. His pro-wrestling career started after starting four years in college while playing American football. He tried out for the USFL and NFL afterwards before he attended the dental school and he has been a dentist and pro wrestler for over 30 years. He has been privileged to travel nationally and internationally. He has wrestled against and trained with world rated wrestlers from CCW, WWE, NWA, WCW and so on.
The Cosmetic Dentist who went to Parkview Magnet High School who also studied at Harding University has the AIWF North American heavyweight title, AIWF Latin American heavyweight title as well as other numerous other regional title belts in his custody.
Wishing Jim all the best in this his new endeavor to storm Africa to show the black warriors the kind of stuff he is made of while he will also meet his match in Africa where black means raw power.
