First pro wrestling champion of South Indian state of Kerala crowned

It seems like we’re writing about a new first in South Indian pro wrestling every single week. The pro wrestling scene in the South Indian state of Kerala has exploded in the last year as Rancor Fighters, Kerala Championship Wrestling and All Action Wrestling Empire have all established themselves and set important milestones in the region.

Today, Rancor Fighters has established another important first. They have crowned the first pro wrestling champion and title belt holder in Kerala pro wrestling history! Vineeth Antony was able to emerge as the first Kerala Champion following a brutal and bloody hardcore battle with Arun Haridas. The company had originally planned to crown their first champion in a tournament at their upcoming Desert Storm event. However, following the company’s first match, which saw Vineeth Antony bully Ron Billions until Arun Haridas made the save, a challenge was made that would allow the first title holder to be decided in a hardcore brawl between the bitter enemies. Details are still emerging about Rancor Fighters’ plans for Desert Storm but they have indicated a desire to hold the event in front of a live audience which can hopefully be possible soon, depending on the way the Covid-19 situation continues to play out in the region. You can check out the historic first championship title match in South Indian pro wrestling history below! Congratulations to Rancor Fighters for this historic achievement and congratulations to Vineeth Antony for going down in history as the first man to hold pro wrestling championship gold in South India!
