Jibick Mua Kajinga becomes 2021 Grand Champion of Katanga catch fetiche with help from leopard skin and live birds

The finale of the 2021 Katanga Catch Championship has been uploaded to YouTube by the absolutely wonderful Congo Canal 26. Katanga is a region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo that is part of the Haut-Katanga province of the DRC and is home to the country’s second largest city, Lubumbashi. The final sees Jibick Mua Kajinga outlast Kalele Machine in a bout that saw each opponent continuously attempt to incapacitate the other with their mystical catch fetiche practices. In the end, Jibick (who is also referred to as Jibuk in text in the video) emerges victorious after knocking out Kalele Machine with the help of a leopard skin that Jibick had donned and the use of several live birds, the combined powers of which had injured Kalele Machine to the point of not being able to answer the ten count.
