Brazzaville-based wrestler Bois Sacré passed away earlier this month and this past weekend, was honored with a memorial wrestling show that was part of the wrestler’s funeral. The event took place Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Nicole Oba Gymnasium in Brazzaville.

The match is for the Likasi championship belt. Likasi is a city in the south of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, located in the country’s Haut-Katanga province.

After some back and forth magic exchanges, Lipasa is able to force his opponent into a coffin. A couple minutes later, Lipasa’s opponent is gone and in her place is a baby goat.
Two champions meet face to face in the DRC
This meeting has been in the planning stages for a couple weeks. Dix-Francs, the president and inaugural champion of World Wrestling Congo and Zombi De Kibambi the champion of Africa, as recognized by Brussels Young Wrestling Style from Belgium, had a face off on Sunday and furthered discussions regarding a match between the two.

Zombie De Kibambi has bigger ideas in mind and is intent on defending his African championship in both of the Congos and in other countries of Africa, creating a strong regional championship belt that will represent the Congos, Angola and beyond.
