WrestleMap’s Olusesan Olukoya receives Top Promoter award for work with Pro Wrestling Africa

Olusesan Olukoya, a member of the African pro wrestling scene for over 30 years in various capacities including promoter, journalist, historian, and more, has been awarded with the African Promoter of the Year award by Revue Du Catch Belge/Africain. Olusesan is also a proud member of the WrestleMap staff and serves as our Chief Correspondent in Africa. Olusesan was presented with the award for his work with Pro Wrestling Africa this year where he serves as Secretary General. Thanks in part to Olusesan’s efforts, PWA held a very successful event in Yaounde, Cameroon back in April of this year. The highly anticipated event featured great matches, saw the African Heavyweight Title change hands and was able to be enjoyed by fans all over the world due to Olusesan’s efforts to live stream the event.

This award is very well deserved and we extend a huge congratulations to Olusesan for this achievement!
